i want to take things to a higher level. not sex. he is too gentlemany and not upfront enough. he hasn't even held my hands yet. i don't want to initiate because i might be seen as desperate.
so far it feels very good with him but i feel that there is no romantic spark. how to get that spark? or perhaps if there is no romantic spark, there will never be in the future?

Show a little skin maybe some cleavage and look dazzling but casual. Don't bother coming on to him, if you go out to the movies go see a hot one with a lot of romance in it or rent a very romantic movie with a lot of kissing and hugging. Wear a different fragrance something sexy with a cinnamon note to it or a womenly scent, wear a cuddle sweater and wear your hair the way it compliments you best. If he doesn't make a move you have a dull one and you need to ask him what gives if he calls for a fourth date.

Go out for a drink and ask him if he wants to do body shots. Go see a scary movie with him and cuddle up to him at the scary parts. Think of things that will get you close to him. It is a possibility that he's not interested in you that way. Good luck!
