I've got a great white chocolate mudcake mix that I want to use to make a layered cake (torte). Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should use to fill the layers? I was thinking a white chocolate ganache, but the idea of that sounds a bit too sweet and gooey. Please put forward some ideas and I'll pick the best!

How about light chocolate whipped cream-
Maybe a small amount of chocolate syrup added to the whipped cream.
I am not sure about a white chocoalte syrup added to whipped cream- something doesn't sound right.

Since there is NO actual chocolate (cocoa) in white chocolate (why they call it chocolate is a mystery to me) . . .
Maybe use a semi-sweet chocolate creme to fill the layers ?
