Well, consider this little tidbit:
Nicholas Cage, who you've seen recently in Ghost Rider, had to cover up a tattoo for the part. You'd think a tat for a biker role would be okay, right? Well, what if the tat is for the part he's playing in the movie? Yes, he has a Ghost Rider tattoo. No breaking the fourth wall here...
Nicholas Cage is a big comic geek. His last name is actually Coppola, but he wanted to strike out on his own so his stage last name is taken from... Luke Cage, Power Man (a Marvel comic big back when he was a kid).
That he didn't play John Constantine is a crime, but that's an aside. Did I mention he's one of my favorite actors?
In my opinion... very cool. I say put the same thought you'd put into any tattoo (in the words of a poster, think before you ink), but otherwise go for it. Lenore is definitely on the non-mainstream/freaky goth side, and imho that adds a whole lot to the "neat!" factor.

well my favorite movie is nightmare before christmas. it has been since it first came out. and i am currently planning to get a half sleeve depicting parts of the movie. so no, i don't think it's stupid at all. your "favorites" are a way of people seeing who you are, so that makes it a meaningful tattoo.
i am not familiar with this comic so i looked it up. i think it would make a great tattoo.

My dad got his favorite comic book character tattooed on him and he loves it. He got Dawn, from the comic book Dawn tattooed on him. If its something you've been interested in for awhile, and you dont think your going to be un-interested in it ever then I say get the tattoo. I have my favorite bands name tattooed on me, and I still love it.

I think that all in all it sounds like you have thought this through, and if you really like this character (which one just out of curiosity) then go for it.
What I would recommend is to put it in a place that can be easily hidden in case you want to be/are a professional where it would be inappropriate to have a visible tattoo.

I think that if you truely think that you will love this character for the rest of your life, then why not? Sounds like a cool idea, and you know that you probably wont find to many like you tattoo out there.

I personally wouldn't get it, but that is me, and we are not talking about me, we are talking about you! I think any tattoo you get, should be something that sets you apart from everyone else, and shows who YOU are, that is what it is all about. If you want it, you go and get it. It is not stupid at all, because if it means something to you, then it is a part of who you are, don't worry about what other people think, as long as it makes you happy! Good luck!

ummm, i guess it depends on what favorite it was. i would definitely get my favorite food tattooed on me (already did) i would get my favorite book tattooed on me (or something to do with it) i probably would not get my favorite lotion tattooed on me. or my favorite cd cover, or my favorite brand of alcohol (i have seen that done before)
so like i said... it depends. but if you are that dedicated to something then i say go for it. just make sure that a talented artist does it so you'll be proud of the tattoo forever.

it depends on how you feel about yourself. if you want a tattoo and that is what you want, go for it.
i have a tattoo of baby goofy, just because he is my favorite disney character.
tattoos are you and how you feel about something. your body is the canvas and will hold the pictures of your likes, loves, and commintments.

It sounds like one of those tattoos you'd want removed in about 10 years.
