u just need to get experience ... u can get a virus anytime u download somthing ... ive used limewire off and on for years for single songs and never got a virus from it ... u just have to watch what ur doing and what u download .... bittorrent is better but still u have to use ur head to avoid problems ...

The basic problem is this - if it's free, it's illegal. People will plant viruses. The only way to avoid viruses is to use legal download sources, which means paying for them. Viruses are the price you pay for stealing music.

Any program will have the risk of giving you a virus. Frostwire really seems to be working for me.

but beware using any p2p software can get you a virus don't download program files stick to nice safe MP3's or Mpeg videos even windows WMA's can carry viruses
