It takes 412 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop,because I counted while I was licking a tootsie pop sucker. I have also had friends that have said that they have reached the center of a tootsie pop sucker in about 400-413 licks. I hope this has finally helped answer the question,"How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?" ;-)
