Calm down. God is the "hide and seek" champion of all time.

You know, there is help for those that are suicidal and seeking self destruction. Seek some counseling. Don't give up on your life so easily.

I mean, come on. Anyone that is actually seeking a fight with God has some serious issues. I mean, I like an underdog as much as the next guy, but an "underdog" actually has a chance of winning. A fight with God? That is like a hand to hand combat between a mouse and a pit bull in an open pit. Or more like between a bacteria and a vat of anti-bacterial soap. Like, no chance. Not even the chances of a snowball in hell.

If you really want to fight Him, I guess you are on the right track. He's undefeated. And I have read the end of the book, He remains undefeated. But there is good news.

You can stop trying to fight God, and join Him. He's on the winning team. He is the good guy. And He wins in the end. He really loves you, and waits for you with open arms, to love you and to comfort you. He can take all that guilt and pain, and give you peace instead.

That sure beats fighting a loosing battle any day.

I heard about this man who happened to be atheist who stood on top of a large hill and berated "God" daring Him to come show Himself and fight. Called God every name under the sun and made a real spectacle of himself, until a gnat flew into his throat. Somehow it got caught in just the right spot that it choked him to death. I did not know this person personally but it was related to me by a person who did know him and it was a true event. Is that the kind of "fight" you had in mind?
For the person who asked: yes the person relating the event was on the hill with him when it happened and yes Doctors did confirm that it was a gnat that caused the fatal choking.
And before you ask - the friend didn't perform CPR because he said he didn't know how and used his cell phone to call for help.

Go to a very quiet place, get comfortable, close your eyes and breath deeply for awhile and invite God to your fight - go ahead, have a conversation. You will not be the first (or last) to fight God or argue with God - God is willing, but you've got to show up, and it won't be a fist fight, but a fight of spirits. How long can you be still, breathing deeply, and have the conversation?

So... about this "gnat" story...

I mean, I don't want to knock it, it was wonderful story-telling and all... but... was that friend there with the atheist when this event happened? :\ Did the friend witness it? And if no one was there with the atheist then... did someone have to perform an autopsy on the poor guy to reveal a gnat inside his throat, which caused him to choke? :\

Heh, perhaps it's just because I've heard so many stories of "my friend told me that this happened to a friend of his friend..." etc. ;P

But honestly. I liked the story.

which god????
some don't fight but others are pretty easy to fight, like Zeus. Just get a hot girl as bait since he literally had sex with tons of women.
But if it's a Christian god, it depends on if it's the old testament god or the new testament god.

Dude i don't know.

God doesn't fight. He seems to hide and let people seek him. In a way maybe he lets us fight within ourselves, so to speak.

You cant get him to stop hiding. Either he is too much of a coward too come out and fight you or he is just too busy hiding from someone else that wants too fight him.
