Yes. My mom and I get along so much better now than we did when I was growing up. We go shopping together and just hang out sometimes. I've told her stuff now that I did when I was younger that I NEVER would have let her know then. It's fun! I am glad we got closer as we got older because I know some day she won't be there and I'll at least have alot of great memories to think back on.

That is the best time in your life to be friends with your mother. You are adults now and you can share things. She is probably the est friend you have at this given moment.

Yes.When you are older, say in your twenties, that's when you are suppose to be friends. Not when you're in the teens or younger. That's when she's suppose to be the adult and you're suppose to be the child. When you are older, she can show you things that she couldn't show you when you were in the emotional teen years.
