This is to all those who have served in the Military or any type of Military Branch of any kind.

I just wanted to let you know you are doing a good job with everything you are currently doing and keep up with the good work you are now doing. If you are currently retired, you did a good job with everything you had done in the past wars such as WW2 or any other kind of war. I know you did your best to serve this country from the enemy especially with the terrorism in out there, but you are trying to prove that the U.S. shall never give up it's freedom and we shall not give up to the terrorist at any time.
Keep up with the good work, even if you are in active duty or are retired.

Note: You may leave a note below to those who are currenly in Iraq or those who are active or retired below. That is your choice, but please do not affend these soldiers, otherwise you will get a thumbs down from me.

If you star this, it's like giving the stars to the men and women in the military and because they are trying to do the best they can oversea's.

Amazing how much difference time makes. I was drafted out of college in 1970. In 1973 I got pelted with chicken parts, paint, urine, and garbage when retuning from Southeast Asia and called a murderer and baby killer by the hippies in Oakland. I had to change out of uniform before attending college courses to avoid fights in Pennsylvania. Cops used to hassle all GIs when they saw the military decal on your automobile. About 50% of the population hated the troops back then, and it was acceptable business practice to "Rip Joe Off" anytime you could. Now I am a retired soldier drawing disability and am half way through my 2nd career. Now I am a stinking triple-dipping, beltway bandit. At least they are treating the troops well today and hopefully the fashion won't reverse itself.

God be with all our patriots fighting for us. I wish them well. I served in the Persian Gulf in 59-61 aboard the USS VALCOUR AVP-55. Our politicians need to give 100 % backing to our troops.

That's so kind. My husband is a Viet Nam veteran, how thoughtful of you. I love our soldiers, too, and wish them all the best.

70% of Americans are now against the Iraq war. Don't get yourself killed. The war will end up like another Vietnam. We are going to lose.
