We go out, he gives me money, he kisses me when were out. I've slept in the same bed with him but nothing happened. He just held me. I know this sounds sweet and all, but why wont he try anything. We do bf/gf things, but were not doing it. What gives?

OK to add on he has had sex before, i've seen magnums around, so i assume he is well endowed. He is not the shy type. Do you think he has someone else, and if so why does he do all these other things for (money, shopping, food etc.) me?

It could just be that he has an imperfect body or a small penis, and does not feel comfortable with you enough to expose himself to you.

He could also be considering this as a way of respecting you, by not rushing into having sex with you.

He could also be married.

He could also have an STD or AIDS and trying to decide further if he will pass it on to you or not.

Be careful what you ask for!

Well me and my bf isn't having sex even though we've been together for over a year. I think he just wants to take it slow and make the relationship last. My bf is worried if we go all the way, the relationship will be a physical one rather than emotional attachment. That's what killed his last relationship. He could just want to make this one last.

Maybe he is thinking about becoming a monk? Or, maybe he has seen too many episodes of the Benny hinn ministries? If push comes to shove, just leave that retro romeo and find someone else!!!!!

The man really respects you n thats good...just don't rush thing!!! the time will come. If you want to get down then you must take matters into your own hands, so make the move. Guys are like a light switch, you can turn them on n off really easy...so it shouldn' b hard. But I recoment you to take it easy n let him take his time....DON'T RUSH!

Maybe he's just shy and you need to make the first move or he has respect for you and doesn't want to harm the relationship, either way you probaly need to have a heart to heart talk with him.

Maybe he's never done it before?

Maybe he's waiting until after marriage?

Have you asked him? I mean it would be better asking him than us right? Seems he is the one with the real answer. I suggest sitting him down and talking to him. Dont make it serious otherwise he'll get all defensive...but you need to talk to him.

Maybe he is shy or he really likes you alot and doesn't want you to think he just wants sex from you....give it time and have a talk with him about it...It sounds like to me that he doesn't want you to be turned off by thinking he just wants sex from you.

He could be gay and enjoy your company.

He could be painfully shy and not know what to do.

He might have religious convictions that don't allow anything more.

It's hard to tell without knowing him.

Why don't you try and take the lead on this one. Maybe he just needs a little guidance, it can't hurt, right?

This is my own opinion, but it could be he is refraining from doing it out of respect for you. You really should love him for that.
