If there truely was a god why does he let people feel pain?

why is there war. why do people hate each other. I'm losing hope in him. I dunno should i believe in him. I am nice but still he lets the girl of my dreams go to another man.

Lets put it this way. Without war would there be peace? Without hate would there be love? Without sorrow will there be happiness? The answer to all these are no. Nothing could truly exist without their opposite. I am agnostic but that should answer your question.

You cannot blame God for things that humans created themselves.. People created war for their own greed NOT God...
Life is not always easy, well it never is nothing comes on a silver platter. Dude obviously that girl wasnt meant for you and that there is someone else out there who is way better then what you saw in her.
You cannot blame God for you losing out to a girl that you think was the girl of dreams.. if everything was happy and perfect and we got what we wanted all the time... we would not grow as person, as a being cause all we would know is getting what we want and not what we need.
Dont give up your faith and your belief just on the sadness that you feel, cause he feels pain just like you. He is just as human as we are.
Dont question your faith, cause God has other plans better plans for you and your growth as a man.
Whoever the ppl are that hate themselves.... it is not of God's doing. Its funny we are quick to blame God when things go wrong for us... and dont want 2 believe that the wrong is actually of our doing.
We go through hard times because it is the only we grow as a person.

We turn to God when we need help, so I suggest to do the same. Ask him for help.

Without Suffering there would be no compassion. There is a God, I believe. Ppl go astray from the Lord all the time && it's not like he just "lets" this happen. God's gonna put u through trails, but always remember what doesn't kill u only makes u stronger && God will ALWAYS pull u thru the fire w/ him. God never leaves our side even though it may feel like it, but we are the ones the leave him b/c we dont get what we "want". God gives us someone special in our life && if that's the gir lof yuor dreams he wouldn't do that or...&& she didn't just go to anotherm an she can always come back. What's meant to be will make a way. Trust && God && he will fulfill all ur "needs" in His time not ours.

When I am in doubt and need encouragement, I read the Bible. The book of Job discusses pain and trials. We can't know God's reason for the challenges we face, but we CAN know that he is doing everything he does for the greater good. Through pain we often learn empathy, compassion and new priorities. Through war man often learns the senselessness of violence and hate. There is a lesson to be learned from it all if we all will just look closely at it. Remember in the Bible God repeatedly tells us this earth is not our home. The Devil has power on this earth right now. There is beauty and love with God beyond what you have ever felt. Just have faith in God. His love for you is beyond what any woman or man can give.

Sometimes it's hard to believe in God. But he does exist. He helps you every day, and has given you many gifts. Wars aren't from Him, they are from the devil. He allows them to happen for a purpose. Mabey the girl of your dreams isn't the best one. There are many fish in the sea, as the old saying goes. You just have to have faith. And trust me, it'll be worth it in the end.
Never stop believing in Him, even when life takes a drastic turn, and you can't understand why. And you may be nice, but that doesn't mean that you are sin-free. God allows us to see good and evil so we can choose which we want.

If we use the gift of free will He gave us to tell Him we want to do things His way, He will respect that; both now and on Judgement Day. If we tell Him we want nothing to do with Him and want to do things our own way (rebellion against God is the very definition of evil) He will respect that; both now and on Judgement Day.

Earth is just boot camp for the eternal life which comes next, where there will be no sin, nor pain in Heaven; and no relief from them in Hell. God will give us whatever we tell Him we want. We are asked that same question every day of our (temporary) lives here on Earth.

People in rebellion against God make up all kinds of lies to justify what they're doing, but they know God is exactly who He says He is. They ask misleading questions like "Do you believe in God?" Everyone believes in God - even the demons. The question we should be asking is "Do you trust Him?"

I do. The Bible says He will never allow me to be tested more than I can endure, so if a trial comes into my life I know it's because 1) He knows I can handle it, and 2) I will become stronger when I over come it. The Bible says it in archaic words, but the meaning is clear enough: All things work together for the good of those who believe.

He allows us to be tested. God will have what ever he wants and we can pitch a fit like a child or we can be adults about it and deal with it. I know which one I am. I am not gonna pout for some people who do. I do not know if you do or not. I do not know. Anyways, to answer your question part about the pain. He feels pain too. He isnt just some harsh spirit that is sitting up there above everything and not give a darn about us. If he didnt, he would of never sent his son. He would of just let us sort it out on our own. We will always want to do it our way and not God's way. We always apply that song. "My Way". Like Frank Sinatra put it. The thing is, is that we have brought sin upon ourselves. We just arent human enough to admit and be mature enough to admit it. We will always lie and decieve each other because everyone wants something different. Our righteous is like a dirty oily rag that the mechanic never washes or tries too. People hate each other because they want too. They want what they want and they do not care who likes it or who doesn't. Well here is my advice. Do not lose hope. Sometimes I think about becoming dark. It is easier to live that way. But do you think the easy way will always be the best way. If so Jesus would of never been born into human form to save our souls. The romans thought Jesus had come to rescue the jews from roman rule but he didnt. He came to die for our souls. If he didn't, I do know this. We would probably wonder why he hadn't come. He just wants people to talk to him and love him as we should and love each other as well. I have learned to talk to him like I talk to my mother. Normally and without fear. You know he could of destroyed us long time ago. He could not listened to his son and said.....No son. They must be destroyed and then Judged. How would you feel if God the father said that? It would hurt me. I would be very depressed. But I know that Jesus loves us so much that he persuades God everyday to spare us. God the father must need alot of convincing for him to hold his anger and wrath back. Think of God as a loving parent. We humans look like him in the face and body. He made us mortal. We were immortal first but screwed that up. So he sent his son to die for us. So that corrected our mistake. He did his part. Now we need to do ours. Even though more and more everyday. Christians that turn away from God lose out. The ones that get saved are probably around the same number that God loses. The devil is winning every day in alot of ways. Sometimes God wins and sometimes the fallen angel, the dark lord of hell is winning. I hate to give him credit but its true. I hate it. There is no hope for satan and his demons.

I often question him as well and sometimes even feel as if he doesn't love me. But i come up with two reason he does what he does.
1) He wouldn't give you more than you can't handle. Whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
And
2) Everything happens for a reason. For every action [good or bad] there is a reaction...

Although he let the "girl of your dreams" go to another man and it's killing you maybe he has something better of you. Maybe if he let you have her, she would have cheated on you for the guy of HER dreams. Everything happens for a reason.

People choose war. God gave us free will. If you want free will, it comes along with a lot of bad choices that people are going to make. Also, if you don't know pain, then you don't know happiness and joy. You can't have one without the other. If you loose something unjustly, it will be returned (the love) to you a thousand fold. The girl that is gone, is gone to make room for the better girl that will come along. Pray. Ask that he make you the kind of man a good woman will want, and ask him to put you in place to find her...............then, don't EVER give up hope that it will happen. Have you ever been on a really high building and looked down. You can see on both sides of the house/railroad car/byuilding, and you can see around the corner you can not see around when you are on the ground. He is higher up than you could ever be. my pastor said one day that there is a line that we christians fallow, and we try to balance the line, and when we doubt God, we have fallen off the line, and we try to get back on.
Still, God isn't doing this, its PEOPLE starting war, and its PEOPLE that cause pain, and its PEOPLE that make loss.
Don't blame in God, and have trust in him, he isn't doing anything wrong.
And besides, if we all got along and there was no pain, it would be a perfect world, and the world is not pefect.
The world will be perfect, once we are in heaven. But, if you don't want to live a perfect life when you die, you won't go to heaven, because you might not believe in God.
