but i wasnt at school. do u think i should call him? or would it be a bad idea?

if you didn't see him looking upset, then don't worry about it. i would only worry if he says something to me about it. call him, ask him how his day went, but don't bring up the fact that he "looked mad."

No call him and ask him whats wrong and if he seems like he doesnt wanna talk just ask him if he wants u to call him later

Call him over and over till he answers, ask "What's wrong?" and "Are you mad at me?" and refuse to hang up until he tells you everything.
