Yeah. Not only does it leave weird marks and make your hair poof up in places you don't want it to in the morning, it's also hard to tame after you sleep. Plus, if you sleep on a white pillow, it can leave yellowish marks from the dried dampness. But no--it doesn't make it frizzy or damaged. If you're in a situation where you're too tired to do blow-dry/straighten it, go to bed. It won't kill you. Just don't pull all your hair out in the morning when you see it!
:) Hope I helped!

this could be a yes or no answer. It depends on ur hair type. If its curly....like mine....ur hair will be all over the friggin place, like a nest and you'll probably have frizzy hair (especially in the back) all day long. your hair is most fragile when its wet and when ur sleeping you rolling around all over the place and dont even know it causing breakage in ur hair...unless u dont move at all....then ur hair won't probably be dry when you wake up. If you do sleep with wet hair...try wrapping a bandanaround ur head to hold hair in place...it still probably wont be totally dry, but it wont be as damaged.

if you've conditioned your hair, it won't go frizzy, but you may need to re-wet it in the morning and blow dry to get the shape you want.
I have very thick wavy short hair. Here's what I do when I wash it at night.
lay a heavier towel over your pillow when you go to sleep, that way your pillow protected. Comb or brush your wet hair back as though you were putting it in a pony tail, and clip it if you like, but you don't have to. Simply lay on your pillow as normal and go to sleep - unless you are a real tosser during sleep, your hair shouldn't be too out of shape, but as I said, you may have to re-wet it and blow dry to get the desired shape in the morning.

Damp is good, I have long hair and I put it in two braids prior to bedtime, in the morning I let it loose and wah-la wavy hair. But if you do go to bed with wet hair make sure it is not dripping wet. It will smell in the morning like a moldy towel. Made that mistake once had to rewash the hair the next morning.

Most hairstylists state that:
Hair warns against sleeping with wet hair, saying when hair is wet, the strands are more fragile and easier to break.
Apparently, restless sleepers can damage their hair on regular cotton pillow cases. Often they say if you are too fall asleep with wet hair to fall asleep on a silk pillow since it is softer for your hair.
I have discovered from my own experiences that to put your hair up and only brush dry hair...this can reduce frizzyness since my hair is quite frizzy if i fall asleep withe wet hair..
i hope this has helped you

No way! I do it all the time. Makes the smell of the shampoo smell last longer too. If you blow dry it, the smell of the shampoo leaks out but when you sleep on it it traps the scent and wha la! Yummy smelling hair.

I'm sure it won't cause permanent damage but it will look a wild mess in the morning. I know from experience.

No, just don't put it in a ponytail or anything. The hairband can break the hair while sleeping.

I do not know about damage, but your hair will certainly be all messy and helter skelter when you wake up in the morning.
