If you were a juvenile it will not show up.

If you were an adult, it will show up.

And to clear up what other people said....

scott_simpson - A rap sheet will show ALL convictions and charges you have received as an adult. If you were arrested several times then your not looking in the right place to find them. Don't project your stupidity onto the officers answering questions correctly. And rap sheets are NOT just for felons.

Criminal history's are not kept in NCIC.

I'm not 100% sure if it will show up but I'm thinking there is a good chance it will since a job for a police officer is more in depth then the average background check. Depending on the state it happened in, there is a chance you can get the charge expunged through a lawyer. In my state if you were convicted of shopplifting and haven't done anything for 5 years you can get a lawyer to the the charge expunged. It basically deletes the charge from your file so there is no record of it.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNGhP

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

I'm not sure, but I do know that all charges do not show up on your record all the time,do a background check on yourself and see,but I'm willing to bet it wont show up.Alot of these people on here are cops and they like to put it across that they have ALL the information, they dont.Case in point I have a couple of charges from 5 and seven years ago, misdemeanors, and they dont show up.Good luck :P
One was a misdemeanor marijuana charge, that guy who said its on your FBI file is full of s**t,that is ONLY for felons

Yes because what matters is the action not the amount.

Everything remains on your FBI rap sheet forever, even traffic tickets and other crimes that were dismissed or you were acquitted of.
