some days our dogs breath is enough to stun an elephant so know what you mean.......vet says she is fine and to give the breath busters by pedigree a try on those really smelly days.

They seem to work along with a weekly tooth brushing for her, which is not that easy to do IMO.

Regards

schedule a dental at your veterinarian's office. Dental hygiene in dogs is a great way to prevent dental and gum disease and prevent bad breath. It also helps a lot with the bed breath they have now. After a dental it's a great idea to continue brushing your dogs teeth (a simple scrub across the teeth with gauze will do just fine).

At your vet's office you can also ask if they sell CET products for canines. They have CET chews that can help remove plaque off your dog's teeth and improve their breath.

also at your local pet store, there are treats (such as breath busters) that really help. It definately helps my dog!

Hope this helps!

For an instant fix, I personally use "Sweet Breath" drops. They are for humans, and can be found with the mouth wash. I put 2 drops on my finger and rub it on the dogs tongue. It doesn't make their breathe smell minty so much as is neutralizes the odor. It even helped my puppies breath!

Bad breath is a major indication that his teeth need to be cleaned. It is important that a vet check his teeth as bad teeth can lead to a load grade infection, which in turn puts a dog off his feed. Also if his teeth are bothering him he will not eat as well. Their teeth need attention just as yours do.

I have a dog myself and he has veery bad breath! You can get these dog treats that have mint in them and they really work! Your dogs breath will smell good once its eaten one. But if your dog is overweight or for some reason cannot eat treats than you have a problem

often a result of bad teeth and possible infection or possible sign of kidneys failing , best to start with a vet visit, to see why, a veterinary dental cleaning and antibiotics may be needed while there ask the vet then to explain the proper way to clean teeth so you can maintain them at home

buy a dog tooth brush and tooth paste for dogs at petco and brush his teeth eachday. He will like it, it tastes like chicken or other flavors dogs like.
