My boyfriend and I have been dating for 8 months. We are both 25 and have both slept with only 2 people. We have yet to have sex with each other. In the beginning we both agreed we didnt want to rush it and take things slow. He told me he wanted to make sure he loved the next person he slept with and that he could trust and respect them. We have exchanged I love yous and expressed our trust in the relationship and each other, however he is still persistant he wants to wait. I am starting to miss the intimacy that comes with being together like that and want to feel that part of our relationship....I want to show him how much I love him and feel that chemistry between the two of us. Everytime I bring it up, he just says, you know that cant happen...when can it happen? I dont know how to talk to him about it and get my point across of how I am feeling. Any advice?

I wish I could give you a real answer, but this is something you're going to have to talk to him about... sit down and just say basically what you said in this question, and ask him why he feels like you guys need to wait.. and make him actually talk, not just answer yes or no and start watching TV... you guys could maybe even come up with a sex alternative if he would be into that...

Yeah, he sounds like a real disciplined kind of guy, which is a good thing, but the fact that he doesn't want to have sex with you is troubling. Especially if you want to!
Know what I think it is? He's shy! He thinks he will let you down the first time, and he wants to make sure he's got you on lock-down (married to him) before he spills his little secret... You should just tempt the heck out of him with some sexy lingerie and see if he can resist--then teach him how to love you!

You gotta take matters into your own hands...Stop talking about it n just get to the sex...start making out with him n turn him on. Guys are like a light switch, you can turn them on n off really easy so it shouldn't b hard. Just take matters into your own hands.

You tell him I love you, do you love me, if he says yes then ask him why. he may have intimacy problems he can not talk about.
but you definately need to talk to him if you are unhappy. It will only come between you.

Is he gay? Truly - not trying to be a jerk..... that is odd. He has had sex, says he loves you and wants to love the 'next' one....... I don't get it. And 8 months is along time to be 25 years old and dating and choosing not to have sex. I would start to wonder if there is another girl........(or guy).
