Try your best to eliminate sugar from your diet. Use Splenda and drinks that contain it. UP your water intake....if you don't like it that much, try the Crystal Lite packets that you can pour into a bottled water--they are great--I love them!

Only treat yourself to some good eating on the weekends. During the week, eat more fruits and vegetables than meat and potatoes.

Grab a partner and both of you get pedometers, make it a challenge to have the most steps and the one who has the most steps and/or miles at the end of the week wins--loser treats to something or somewhere. Walking and some sort of exercise is going to be the secret to getting the pounds and the water weight off quickly. Join Curves and/or Weight Watchers.

Another great tip is to start a journal--for each day and each time you eat, jot down what you've eaten and how many calories that you are consuming. An average person should consume at least 2,000 calories a day--that's a normal caloric intake.

I hope that this helps in your weight loss journey and I wish you the best.

Here's to being healthy....

If you want a healthy diet, where you won't gain the weight back quickly after the diet and won't lose the weight dangerously quick, you'll need to simply change your eating habits and exercise routine. It's safe to lose between 1 and 2 pounds per week, so 50 lbs and 4 months isn't realistic. If you lose slowly, you won't put on quickly. Also consider that losing that much weight in a short amount of time will leave you with excess skin that will droop and look ugly! Definitely talk to your doctor, join a gym and talk to a nutritionist.

www.calorie-count.com is a good website to help you out. Remember, if you want to lose weight and keep the weight off, you'll need to make a lifestyle change not just for your weight, but for your health instead of doing something silly like a fad diet.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

If you can afford it, the most effective and safest way to lose a significant amount of weight would be to hire a professional nutritionist to work with you one on one. But I know someone who lost 40 pounds on South Beach in 5 months. Everyone is different, so you might have to try some different diets to find the one that will work for you. And don't forget, no matter how many pounds you lose, you absolutely have to exercise if you want to develop a nice tone figure (and keep the weight off).

Weight Watchers is the best. You can eat whatever you want but the high fats and the high sugars will cost you,but then you get freebies. It's all about counting your daily point intake., and it depends on how much you weigh. The more you weigh the higher the points until you lost about 10 pounds then your points drop. Weight Watchers is the bet diet anyone can be on,as long as you stick to it. At first you will feel like you are starving yourself but your stomach will get use the little bit of food you are eating.Always workout, because you earn points by working out. Look it up online. I bought the at home do it yourself package. Use all your willpower and you can do it.
Good Luck sweetie

Weight Watchers & working out 5 to 6 days a week for at least an hour.Even if its just walking, running would be better but you can start with walking. I lost 40 to 45 in about that time. But you have to stick to the weight watchers points plan and exercise its a must, but it will work

first off it's only healthy to lose 2-3 pounds a week unless you're very obese.
You can lose weight in many ways- taking pills, starving yourself, eating only grapefruit etc...
if you want to lose weight AND do it healthily and keep it off do it like this:
Watch how much you eat- You should have 50-60%Carbohydrates (bread, vegetables, rice, pasta, fruit, grains/wheat); 30% Proteins (Beans, red meat, oultry, dairy, eggs, fish) ; and 10-20% Fats (you want these to be healthy fats such as avacados, nuts and seeds, olive oil & other cold-pressed veggie oils) have very limited saturated fat and added sugars.
Eat 3 meals a day don't forget breakfast and have a small snack (healthy granola bar, fruit/veggies, trail mix, nuts) in between meals if you're feeling down. This will keep your body working and metabolism up which will help your body process food instead of storing it as fat.
The number one way to gain fat is to starve yourself. (you eventually need to eat and when you do your body will hold onto it as fat incase you starve again - thus you don't lose fat you gain it.)
In addition to eating healthy nutritious foods you need to exercise. This will help your body use the food. Food = Energy going into your body, exercise = energy leaving your body. can you afford a personal trainer? if so it's great they'll give you a meal plan and an exercise plan that works for you. if not go to the gym or do exercises at home such as walking the dog/ running/ gardening/ walking up and down stairs. You'll aslo want to lift some light weights if you're just starting out. Just enough to tone arms and do squats to firm that bootay and legs :)
Bring a buddy with you to exercise it'll make it more fun and keep you motivated.
Good Luck and God Bless
:-) You can do it!!

I don't know what, if any, diet restrictions you have. Try The South Beach Diet. I was totally amazed to find a way to lose weight quickly and to then be able to turn the diet into a lifestyle. I was in your position four years ago. I lost the weight. I never regained it. One nice thing about South Beach is that I never felt deprived and if you hate to sweat - guess what? You can lose all the weight you wish without exercising - except to exercise your mouth! Hope this helps a bit.

Well I like Weight Watchers, because you have to go to meetings and be weighed. They also teach you how to make your own meals and count points. But if you want meals sent to your home that are all measured for calorie count, then try The Zone Diet also Jenny Craig is good too. They have premeasured meals too. You just have to be dilligent and focused at your goal. I wish you well and whatever weight loss program you choose, keep at it and you will definitely lose the weight.

Exercise every day for at least an hour, more is always better- drink nothing but water. Take multi vitamins. Make your caloric intake of healthy food to be right around 1200-1400 calories. Get 8-10 hours of sleep a night. Dont drink alcohol, smoke. no eating out, no junk food, no candy, no pop... nothing...
