I have since then recovered, though the money I paid to tithe is forever gone........

I do encourage people not to give money to an organization based on mythological stories, though I am not really zealous about it. It's their money. Why should I care what they do with it?

Yes i have had opportunity to accept the Lord, and i have. I haven't regretted it either. I have had an opportunity to lead a friend to the Lord. (what an experience!) And continue to work for Him in the Great Commission.

Having said all that, its not an easy road to walk on. As it says we choose the long narrow road to LIFE instead of the easy wide road to destruction.

Yes I have had the opportunity and I have! I always try to spread the word but no one ever listens to me. But I never give up! I am never ashamed to talk about the Word of God. Jesus is Life! I AM A BELIEVER!

specific, prayer does provide me that non violent feeling. Mass additionally provides me that feeling. regrettably you in straight forward terms ignored the climax of the Church 12 months, that's Lent, and then Easter. I don;t understand what denomination you're questioning approximately, yet i'm Catholic and that i certainly advise their church centers. See in case you are able to pass to Church each Sunday for a 12 months. the wonderful circumstances to pass to Church may be during creation and yuletide, and then my all-time popular time for Church is during Lent, and then the Easter Vigil. something of the time, straight forward time, is unquestionably rather uneventful, regardless of the undeniable fact that it nevertheless does provide you that small feeling of excitement. yet during creation that's a sacred time as you prepare for the beginning of Christ. Lent, is a effectual time of the Church 12 months. As you spend 40 days making waiting for Jesus' dying and resurrection, I constantly sense this superb feeling that i won't be able to even describe, regardless of the undeniable fact that it in straight forward terms comes from going to Church. The religious meaning builds up in you each Sunday during Lent, and then be sure you do no longer omit mass on Holy Thursday, good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. somewhat, in case you do to a Catholic church now and inquire approximately RCIA you are able to spend a 12 months or regardless of the undeniable fact that long it takes (i'm uncertain, regardless of the undeniable fact that that's somewhat below a 12 months) and you study Christianity. Then on the Easter Vigil mass, they baptize and make certain you into the religion, and that's the way you adventure the entire feeling of peace and that superb feeling you won't be able to describe. i'm sorry if I sound like i'm purely rambling on yet I tremendously advise you start up off going to Church each Sunday and take RCIA training at a community Catholic parish. i think of that's going to likely be a brilliant adventure for you.

I accept God, yes. I do not accept any idiotic religion based around a hate filled bigoted book.

Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.

I have, and after due consideration concluded that it would be a complete waste of time. If you can demonstrate any substantive benefits from having done so, other than warm fuzzy feel-good, I would be interested to hear about it.

I did, but then we broke up a few months later. I wanted to see other gods, and the Lord was unfortunately very jealously possessive and demanding.

I told God that it wasn't him, it was me. Really it was me not believing in him though.

I have and I do spread it where I go. Work, grocery stores sometimes, doesn't matter. I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
