i use to use dove advance treatment but it didn't work so i change it back to garnier but my hair is damage from ironing it n i can't seem to buy any hot oil treatment from my local duane reade shop

Do it yourself at home.

I recommend Joico's K-Pak Conditioner instead because it's easier to apply, less messy and versatile. It can be used as a deep conditioning mask or as a daily conditioner.

before you do that you need to change your shampoo and conditioner. both of them are causing your hair to dry out.

i recommend pantene. if your hair is of an ethinic back ground besides white, still use it. and chose the one for your hair type also.

so you would look for dry and damaged shampoo and conditioner. after you wash your hair you condition rinse and use a leave in conditioner also.

hot oil treatments will not solve your problem. if you really insist on using one than try the one by pantene also.

try out both

do the hot oil at home see how it goes and then go for the salon for advice

I've always done the at home treatment. it works great for my hair. I would try it...it cheaper... if it doesn't work then sure go to a salon.

You might go to the salon and buy Extreme by Redken. It will put moisture back into your hair I use it all the time and it's great!!!

you should do it at home a salon is just going to over charge you
