Yes of course with a swimming cap but what if it falls off. I'll say that you dont have to wear a swimming cap. Just put your hair in braids or in a ball. Then before you go to sleep that night, wash your hair very good. This will keep the chlorine from damaging your hair.

Wear a Swim Band under a snug swim cap
For Max protection wet hair first, apply conditioner, the swim band, and outer swim cap. After your swim rinse hair in the shower. Bubble strap swim caps work best over a silicon swim band.

If you put leave in conditioner in your hair before you put it in your cap, that will help. Redken makes a great shampoo for chemically treated hair so does Biolage. Ask your hairstylist to recommend the one that is best for your hair type.

If you are very careful with your swimming cap to tuck your hair up and wash it afterwards, you should be okay!
