Hi,

In excel is there a way to make each column and row much bigger? Example: In column A I'd like to fit a domain name in one cell. I don't want the entire URL to go from one cell to next.

double click on the line seperating the cell from the other involved. Click between A and B.

If you hover your mouse between the "A" column heading and the "B" column heading you will see your cursor change to a line with two arrows pointing left and right. Once this is there, double click to automatically size the column to fit the largest item in the column.

This also works for the rows.

Or.
Right-click on the column heading and choose "Column Width". The you can select the exact size of the column/row.

Or.

If you are looking to have a heading go across several columns without making the column wider you can put the label in one cell and then merge that cell with the necessary cells to the right to make one large cell. This can be useful when you are trying to make a usable form but don't want the entire column really wide. One note with this is to be sure you do not need to sort the based on the information. Once you merge cells, you lose the ability to use the sort feature.
