God didn't put us here just to indulge ourselves or have a good time (at least in the way some probably mean it). God put us here for a purpose—and that purpose is to live for Him and experience the joy of His presence every day.

The problem is, God wants to be at the center of our lives‐but so do we. We want to run our own lives and be free to do anything we please because we think that must be the path to happiness. But when we live only for ourselves, we find it doesn't bring us happiness after all. In fact, a life of self-indulgence only leads to emptiness. The Bible warns, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12).

But God has another way for us—His way! It alone is the way of peace, and it alone will bring us true happiness. Not only that, but His path alone will lead us to heaven. What is that way? It is the way of the cross—Christ's cross. On the cross Christ took away all our sins and selfishness, and now He wants to come into our lives and replace them with His love.

Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). Turn to Christ today and ask Him to come into your life. Then ask Him to begin changing you from within—and He will, as you yield your life to Him and allow His Word, the Bible, to shape your life every day.

If your pairs of shoes can converse, they probably would be asking the same question. The chicken in the poultry are probably asking the same question. We are here because the LORD GOD created us on earth. His wish is that man will live with Him for ever in the spiritual. Adam started life in the spiritual in the Garden of Eden. His activities there came to an end when he possessed knowledge of good and evil like GOD. Genesis 3:22&23. From then on, man has been living in the domain of Satan.

The spirit of man is created for purity of life with GOD. On the other hand, the body of flesh and blood is reserved for life with Satan, a life doomed for destruction.

The LORD GOD created man for co-existence with Him. But now that man is living in the world Satan rules, he lives a meaningless and purposeless life, a life that will soon come to ruin. "But man, despite his riches, does not endure; he is like the beasts that perish." Psalm 49:12.

To get back to a meaningful life according to the purpose of the Creator, you have to be born of water. The way to come by this is to unite with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. The combination of the New Covenant and baptism does this. Your spirit that died to GOD si revived, forgiven and reconciled with GOD. Your spirit can then be born of Spirit and be led by the Spirit to do the will of GOD, to ihabit the Spirit of GOD and become a Temple in which GOD lives by His Spirit, become a son of GOD and live a life of eternal bliss.

And so for starter's I have decided to be a neighborhood missionary and so that is for now why I think that I am here on earth. To be a missionary in my neighborhood.

To make more of ourselves, biologically.

Why should the fact that something comes to an end make it pointless? Often the brevity and intensity of an experience is part of its value, and there are any number of exhilarating experiences which if prolonged indefinitely would become excruciating.

To find our way back home. None of us are from here. We are just passing through. It's like a job, u wake up, go to work & then go back home. The job is done when our purpose is fulfilled.

Trying to be God or trying to kill Him. In the kingdom of God, He is the only one God, when we become envious of Him and become rebellious against Him, we are sent to this planet, so we can try to fulfill our desires. when we begin to develop some intelligence, we realize that is not working then we begin to turn our face to Him again.

CAB302- If your shoe analogy is correct, you're basicly stating that God created us to walk over, and then discard when our usefullness was exhausted. Is that about right?
