No. Even twin-engined piston planes such as mine have no ignition key. The only key opens the cabin door for entry into the aircraft, and I seldom lock that. Even though it requires no key to start, unless you know what you're doing, I doubt you could get the engines running.

commercial planes do not have ignition keys like cars but you have to know which switches to use to start the engines. some small airplanes like the one i used in aviation school did have an ignition key and a button to start the engine.

Generally NO. The process of engine start involves turning on the electrical power, beginning fuel pumps, then igniters, etc. This is an involved process of flipping switches in the correct sequence.

Commercial jets have no locks on the doors and no ignition key of any sort. You can hop in, flip a couple of switches and start one up!

nope but most single also small helicopers do they are *** said abouth a few swiches! the man below "ray" is just big headed and very aragant it is very easy to start up a small plane one of the things you have to look at is sercusity a plane is very safe at a big airport like heathrow and JFK etc even smaller ones however if you have your own little runway you have to be more sercurity concuss. No they don't.
Single-engine piston aircraft, like Cessna's do, kind of, but the turbine powered do not.
