Equifax 1-800-685-1111
Experian 1-888-397-3742
Trans Union 1-800-888-4213
They passed a law where each individual is entitled one free credit report a year. Just call the number and the prompts will walk you through it. A word of advice. The prompts will tell you that you can also check it out online. I found the paper ones in the mail to be most accurate. Also, if you have been denied credit in the past 6 months they will give you one also. If you want your score however, they will charge you for it.

Ok, I'm seeing several answers on here and I want to clarify.
Sites like freecreditreport.com will give you a credit report for free, but want you to join a credit monitoring service (which does cost money) in order to get it.
There are three credit reporting bureaus....experian, equifax, and transunion. A law was passed a year or two ago that everyone is entitled to one free credit report per bureau per year. The website is www.annualcreditreport.com. Once you get on there and fill in your information, there will be a screen that asks which bureau you want your report from. You can check one, or all three...but keep in mind you can get one per bureau per year for free.
Yes, credit scores cost you money. They ask you if you want to pay for that too. The report is free though.
What I do is get one from each bureau every 4 months. So I never have to pay.
If you get a report from someone other than the three bureaus, or from annualcreditreport.com, there is probably a hitch and you may end up paying.
