I have Graves Disease and had the I-131 treatment the first part of February. It seems like the treatment didn't do a very good job as my thyroid went from being 30 grams to 20 grams. Plus my levels are really high.

Anyone have any helpful hints on getting through this? I am on propranolol for my heart and xanax for anxiety.

Weight gain stinks, I just have no energy and life is no fun!!

Any helpful tips or what not be awesome.

Have you considered a thyroidectomy. You would have to be on some sort of replacement therapy like synthroid for the rest of your life, but it is not too terribly expensive and would solve your problem.
