It really depends on wher eyou go to be honest. The easiest place to "elope" to has always been out in Vegas- you can get a license really quick and get married that same day. Usually in the other areas you have to follow thier rules such as the waiting period and what not. You can still go to a judge - but you will need a license.
if you find a place you want to marry at, find out what their rules are and go from there. I do know though that witnesses have to be over age 18, because under that you are still considered to be a minor. (minors cannot sign legally binding contracts)

The only place I know that has witnesses in wedding chapels is in Las Vegas. You do need two witnesses. If you live in the midwest, check out some small churches and ask if the pastor would marry you without witnesses. I don't think your 3 week old son can be a witness because he is under 18.

#1. marriage license. mine cost $96 in FL (not $12).
#2. witnesses need to be over 18
#3. why would you elope to a church? if you want a church wedding, have a regular wedding.
as for prices, there is no "elopement package". some people elope because it's cheaper. go to the local courthouse. they will marry you for a fee.

Well first you need a Marraige license, I forget how much it costs, but it's not really that much (maybe like $12?), you have to wait a week for it, or you can pay an extra fee to get it the next day or so. You do need 2 witnesses, but your son cannot be a witness, the witnesses need to be able to sign the marraige license. You can just go to the courthouse and get married, that's what my husband and I did. Good luck!!

Not sure on any of your questions except your 3 week old son can not be a witness. They have to be over 18 and be able to sign the papers.

A marriage license changes from state to state and county to county. In Kansas it's $60 and you have to wait three days, then you have 6 months to get married. You don't have to go to a church all you have to do is go to your county courthouse and they can marry you. I'm sure that you can get two people to witness your marriage, however I wouldn't depend on the church or 2 people at random from a courthouse to be your witnesses.

You have to have two witnesses over the age of 18....As far as any church...I do believe you have to be a mamber of the church to have your wedding there but you can have a private outdoor ceremony with a JOP and it will take about 10 minutes or so...you can even go to the courthouse and get it done

I think it's safe to say your 3 week old son cannot be a witness, unless of course he can read the paper and sign it, but I doubt it
