In most cases today, "supermax" facilities are equipped with cameras microphones everywhere. This promotes safety for both corrections staff and inmates. Staff are deterred from misconduct, while inmates know too that any misconduct on their part is being recorded, and will be used against them. You must remember, too, that many, if not most inmates moved to a supermax may have reached a place in their existence where they do not care about the consequences that video/audio evidence can bring to bear upon them in light of their misbehavior. Leaving cameras and such out of it, the environment in that type of facility is much more controlled. Precautions are taken by staff that minimize the opportunity of a trouble inmate to cause more trouble.

..?... do you mean for them...or , us..?
Apparently, it is a dangerous place to be if you are incarserated...[supermax[...and it is apparently a good place to put an individual who is incorrigible and incarcerated...
I doubt there is much effort invested in trying to rehabilitate any one in a super max...that's probably the last thing on the institutional agenda.
