I have SUPER curly hair (100% natural) and I can only think of one way to wear it that is quick to do and simple. I just pull it back into a ponytail and voila, I'm done. I like how it looks like this, but I'm getting kind of bored of wearing it the same way. I can't think of any other ways to wear my hair, b/c as I said, it is super curly.
When I let it down it's about shoulder length (not wet) but it is kind of stuck in a ponytail shape (pulled back) until I comb it again. It's hard to explain, but it's like it fluffs out backwards in a way. I don't want to let it down b/c it looks hideous.
I am MAYBE considering straightening it, but isn't that bad for your hair? And what if it looks bad?
HELP!?! How else can I style my hair quickly? And should I straighten it?

I don't wanna try pigtails, (tried that once and it looked awful) and I'm not so sure about corn row plaits, but just give me all the ideas that you have!

What are cane row plaits (supposed to be "corn row plaits"?) and what does it mean to "strain" your hair?

I cut my own hair usually.

What does it mean to "scrunch" your hair? (Sorry, I have no clue when it comes to hair stuff :( Sigh.)

And about pigtails, you mean the ballish kind that goes up, or the hanging down kind that people with straight hair have? Never tried the ballish up one...

You know how Beyonce has curly hair (when it's not straightened) and it looks really pretty when it's hanging down? Jordin Sparks from American Idol has hair like that but shorter. Does anyone know how I can get my hair to look like that? I'm worried that if I just let my hair grow out, it won't really hang down like that. Should I use some special leave in conditioner or mouse to get it like that?

Why dont you go to a hair stylist and ask them for a cut that will emphasize your curls and then watch them as they style it. you could also put some gel in it to minimize poof and frizz

To know what looks good on you, ask the person who does your hair the next time you get it cut. Straightening your hair will only damage it if you do it too often and don't take care of your hair (I have curly hair too, so I know how scary it can be.) Straightening takes awhile.

well you have many options. first of all buy products that r meant for hair like yours. One thing you can do is after you wash your hair defuse it and put moose in it. Also get a good staightener that won't cause as much damage to yr hair! They are always hand for fixing a hair that is just out of place! Lastly letting yr hair dry naturaly and putting product in it to enhance yr natural hair is a good way to go. Hope this answer helped1

straightening is great. but over time it will damage yr hair. you could just use a curling mousse on wet hair in the morning. it will give yr curls more definition. you just put some in and scrunch/twist/shake yr hair and it dries with great curls. also you could do a straightening perm. you could get it done at a salon or buy one and do it at home. depending on what you chose they could be anywhere from $6-$500.

If I were you, I`ld see a famous beautician to help me with my style....only a seasoned professional could guide you to be a real queen after looking at you thoroughly...It`ld be expensive but worth spending.

i feel you...i had some hair problems in my day too. lol. anyway, straightening your hair can do wonders. i HATED my hair, then my sister got me a straightener and now its like easy to manage and i like it alot. So you should try straighting it!!!!!

i would not suggest straightening, this can be damaging, trust me I know. maybe try using products from maybe one of the following website depending on what you are looking for.

www.blended-beauty.com

ok...i kinda understand wat ur going thru cuz i have a friend who has the same super curly hair like u and when she lets it out she doesnt look as preety as she does when she has it in a pony tail. u could put it in a bun or take ur bangs or watever and like put a clip in the middle of ur head and u'll look nice...my friend does it and she looks preety. also, straighten it, it would look beautiful. my friend did the same thing with straightin it nd she looked really good. goood luckkk!!
