People say he never sinned, but he didnt exactly follow his commandments did he? He disobeyed his parents by staying in the temple to teach...regardless of the reason, that was still disobedience. Think of the countless number of people he has killed because they werent doing what he thought was right...but now its all of the sudden a sin to have an abortion... isnt one of his commandments "do not kill"? If you have the answers to this, please let me know, because it is really bothering me.

Well that is a tough one. A preacher may be able to help you better with this one. I look at it this way he is our father. as Jesus he was in human form but still God. My parents had a lot of rules that I had to follow that they didn't. It says in the Bible that he is the beginning and the end the Alpha and the Omega. He says that he is an angry and jealous God. I look at it as he sets the laws and enforces the laws. Kinda like our legal system. Except he doesn't make a mistake even though we might like to think he does. not all lives are taken just because of sin. It says in the Bible that he will not make you suffer through more than you can bear. You also have to remember that there is but one sin punishable by death and that is blasphemy of the holy spirit. There is no such thing as an unforgivable sin. He loves us as much as he is jealous. He came to this earth and died for us. He spent three days in hell so that those who except him will not have to. It is something that he can help you with if when you pray about it you open your heart and mind and truly listen and feel for the answer.

God is above all. Jesus did not disobey His parents, if you read it right when they went back to get Him, He went with them. They knew where He was and what He was doing, this was done for the reason you stated, to show us that even Jesus obeyed the Commandments, after all using your reasoning He could have just told them that He was there and going to stay. What this has to do with abortion, I don't know.

No, he is not above his own commandments. Love thy mother and father (which means honor). His parents did not tell him to NOT teach in the temple. If you read the verse, Josepeh thought he was with Mary and Mary thought he was with Joseph....it was simple misplacement/miscommunication on the parents part.

Please explain how God has killed people because they were not doing something right? The people who wrote the Bible interpreted plagues, etc., as the vengence of God, when in reality the world's environments are cyclical and have nothing to do with God's vengence. The Bible is rife with symbolic stories...don't take them so literallly.

Yes, do not kill, so no abortions and no capital punishment if we truly want to love one another.

Jesus could not sin because he is God , if he did ,he couldn't be God then . He stayed in the temple to teach , his parents left with out him . They came back to find him and he was doing his fathers will. The people who have abortions will be the ones who will have to answer for themselves at judgment day. You have to remember this world and the people in it are sinners, they do not want to abide in Gods word. In the bible the book of Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I change not ".

Well, you know, it´s Moisés that said they were given to him by God...no more witnesses. ¿How can God write, when it´s us humans who invented writing (and pens...) because we can´t read minds like he does?

So Moisés maybe invented the whole thing to get some social order on that Exodus (and be the Boss too)...

Remember it´s the same religion that says God gave the comandments to Moisés, that crucified Jesus and still waits for his comming! So they put us on all the time, I believe.

We have to remember that God doesn´t have any religion in particular. It´s us humans that invent all the different religions, instead.

You forget, that Jesus was the son of God.he obeys God first, before his "earthly caretakers".
So he was not disobedient, to be in the temple..as he said himself..you shoud know that I would be out doing "My Father's" (meaning God's) business.
Im not sure what you mean by the "countless of people he has killed".
And abortion, while legal..no one can say it is a good thing to do...can you?

He is above his commandments because he is the Almighty God of Heaven and Earth. He created this "guidelines" to guide us through our life battling the evils of sin and daily life. Being the Almighty, He knows of everything in the past, present, and future. He does not need these commandments for He Himself have made them, and so he is above them by far.

Jesus was in His Fathers house. He didn't disobey his earthly parents. He obeyed His Father God. They just realized Jesus wasn't with them when their group was traveling home. We are to obey our Father God above our earthly parents also. Obey our parents in the Lord, this is long life. We don't have to blow ourself up in a crouded restaurant because our parents told us to. God would never tell us to do that.

It is written that God holds His Word above His Own Name. God is a God of integrity.

Sinning is rebelling against God. Doing what God said not to do, or not doing what God said to do. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.

People get killed because of sin in own life, or others sins, or environmental sins. God provided a Way to eternal life, through Faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

God IS above the commandments (guides for living)

quick analogy tell a 3- year old, he/she can't use a straight
razor -- yet you use it yourself, how does the 3-yr old start
to comprehend what you already know about razors ?

Does not that put YOU above the rules ?
