so a week ago my doctor gave me differin to try for my acne i have acne a little on my face, a little on my chest and a lot on my back =/ .. so im trying this, but i have a question, is it supposed to make you break out first before clearing up? because now i have like more on my face, like a ton on my chest and more on my back which is already covered by scaring too =/ soo please let me know and comment back.

Yes, you do break out at first, but after that you clear up. I have been using it for 2 years and it has worked well. Make sure you use sunscreen daily, use a gentle hypoallergenic soap and moisturize daily.Cetaphil works well. If your acne is hormonal, you may notice some breakouts around your period. Be patient and good luck!

you break out a litte at first because it is bringing all the puss and gunk to the top. when you keep using it it will clear your pores so it doesn't happen anymore. for example, if you stop using it for a week, but then start using it again, you will break out because in that short time, your pores have been collecting germs and bacteria.
to see some results will probably take around a week or two.
