I think it was a good way to hammer the point home that using a handheld mobile phone whilst driving can cause death or injury. I'm sure Trinity's family would agree.
The message doesn't appear to be getting through any other way! Hopefully the message that the Police have to do some horrible things in their job will get through too and make people think a bit more before criticising (probably not though).
I gave someone a ticket and 3 points for it today where i would normally just give them 'words of advice'. The program drove the point home for me and I'll continue to give out tickets for it from now on.
Maybe if people get hit in their pockets it will make them think twice.
A phone call isn't as important as someones life.
Full credit goes to the officers in their actions from me and thoughts to the family of Trinity

The family would have had to have given permission for this to be televised, and my opinion is, they gave that permission to show the devastating effect a couple of irresponsible minutes can do to a family!
it also highlighted the effect, after the accident, on how some irresponsible driver act in a traffic jam due to an accident! Using mobiles and driving on the hard shoulder to get to a place quicker!
As if their need is greater than others held up!

The familiy of the deceased would have had to have given permission for that clip to have been shown and they would have been asked a long time after the news was broken to them.
It was and should be shocking, the family of that young lady are strong advocates of the new laws on mobile phone use and drivers being responsible for their actions. The whole point of showing the clip was to shock maybe one person into thinking twice about the way they drive and maybe prevent a further waste of a promising life.

Although they would have had to gain permission from the family, I still think it inappropriate that they showed him knocking at the door. It was very clear that the pc was not relishing the prospect of telling the family about her untimely death.
Lets just hope that the message gets through to more people....before more families have to experience the same pain as Trinity's.

It became into humorous. you are able to't prosecute a Police dogs for doing what this is experienced to do, they don't purely chew you, I even have been used as bait for Police canines, and it being heat i became into in my blouse sleeves, and it became into pitch black in a huge production unit, the dogs barked and growled yet did not something greater. the two on the programme would possibly not have been charged yet purely because of the fact there became into not sufficient information, they does not have been bitten if the had not refused to come returned out of their hiding place below the bush. Serves them suited they have been given what they deserved and that i'm hoping the dogs have been given a superb juicy bone as a advantages, and rather the dogs became into greater sensible than the two idiots being chased. interest nicely accomplished.

they will have had to get permission off the family before they broadcasted it. I think it was a good idea to film it all so maybe the message will hit home to people and they will stop using there mobile phones when driving.

You will almost certainly find that the film company had to get permission from everyone in that film, including the parents.
