Why do most people on here put so much effort into criticizing questions that THEY feel are stupid, but the serious questions go ignored?

Because that is what they like to do. Ignore the serious questions and just say that most questions are stupid or something else.

Well, you can't blame all in this regard. Some serious people do feel some questions are weired and off track so they tend to avoid with some gestures. But many serious questions need good attention with very good response and I too feel that many don't tend to give much attention to answer as expected.

It is called stress relieving. And besides, we figured that you alone can answer the more serious questions.

a lot of people come on here to unwind, not to have deep philosophical thoughts. not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just not what they're looking for.
