i have side-bangs and right in the middle of my head i have a little tiny cow-lick that sticks up and separates my bangs and i look retarded. my bangs could almost be considered thick, but not quite. it is a very small cowlick right in the middle of my forehead. im just afraid that it will give my bangs an uneven look. the cowlick isnt even half an inch wide. grr. i hatee it. but if it will look even more retarded i can just live with it and buy a styling product. dont guess. only answer if you know please

ohh and i forgot to add i have hair that will cover where i cut it. just not enough weight to hold it down. i want side bangs and they just will not work with the cowlick. i have to constantly pull it. ive been trying for months to train it. it wont.

My hair stylist works around mine. Chances are the hair is growing at a weird angle at the roots so it will look terrble if you cut it out. My stylist showed me the best way to work my bangs to work with my cowlick. She thins it out and then parted my bangs to the side and the weight of the hair going that way holds it under but the cowlick gives it hight that I couldn't get any other way. The big swoop of the bangs from the side part also looks awesome with a large highlight there. Also, with the right products (like a wax or thick cream) you can keep it under control. I used to fight mine all the time but I actually like my hair better this way! Find someone who knows how to use those scissors! I don't pay way more to see her.... it just takes finding the right person. Good luck!

this is a flaw we are born with, you can cut it off but it will grow back some times worse than before
you gotta live with it and work around it
my hairdresser cuts my bang crooked to match the cowlick so it looks good

You don't want to cut your cowlick out, that will only leave a really icky lookin' bald spot! Get a good haircut, that will minimize your cowlick. Lots of people have them:)

you cannot cut out your cowlick everyone in the world has one, It's that not every one has one in the same place. There are very stiff styling gels one can buy. Or you can be creative and play-full and except that your stubbornness shows rite up front.

my son and I both have cow-licks and if they get cut too short they look worse.......see if you can use some really strong gel until it grows long enough to weigh it down or style a little different to see which way lies better

Visualize yourself being bald. Then ask yourself whether or not you should cut that tiny cow-lick from your beautiful locks.

If you cut it out you will simply be left with a gap. Why not make a feature of it instead?
