2 weeks ago I got measured in school & I was 5' 5'' & I weighed 119 lbs. Today I went to the doctor & I was 5' 8'' & 120 lbs.

So, I basically have 2 questions.
Can I grow 3 inches in 2 weeks?

And, am I a normal weight for my height, because everyone says I'm under-weight (but I eat like a hourse.)

Kay thanks :D

Somebody measured you wrong. Normally one doesn't grow 3 inches in 2 weeks..

I would say that the people at school measured you wrong... the same thing happened to me and so I went back to my doctor and they measured me again and it was the same as the one they had done. My school said I was 5'2" and the doctor said I am 5'5". It was a day after being measured at school. Go to this website http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/wellbeing/weight_height.html enter your height and weight and age and it will tell you what percentage you are at. You have to scroll to the bottom of the page for the BMI calculator. I think you are probably healthy but... I don't know how old you are. Good Luck!

No, you can't grow 3" in 2 weeks, impossible. Someone mis-measured you. Stand against a wall and have someone mark your height and measure it yourself. 119 lbs. is a good weight at 5'5", 120 at 5'8" is a bit underweight.

yeah the growing is either a mistake or abnormal. but the weight is a little on the light side. its not unhealthy, as long as you are eating healthy. but try to eat leaner things that will add on a few pounds.
