So last week a guy I work with asked me out. We went out to a movie and dinner, and then drove around for about a half an hour before he took me home. We are both the quiet type, so neither of us talked a whole lot. It wasn't the uncomfortable silence though, just quiet. When he took me home he walked me to my door, gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and took off very quickly. I took this as a sign that he wasn't that into me.
Anyways, he asked me to go out again tomorrow night. And another coworker, who he's friends with, came up to me and told me how much he liked me. Did I completely read this guy wrong? Should I go out with him again? He's nice and sweet and smart, but why did I get the feeling he wasn't that into me if he was? Please help!!

sounds like he is pretty shy. give it another go and see if you can draw him out a bit. sometimes they just shut down and don't know what to say or do.
of course if you have no interest in him then don't lead him on, it will only make him withdraw further and he'll never get up the nerve to ask another girl out again.

Quiet is hard to read - if he asked you out again he liked spending time with you, quiet or not. Give it another shot & this time ask some open ended questions, talk about what you are into, etc. Don't ask about salary or past - talk movies, video games, music, if recent enough high school experiences. Guys notoriously don't ask someone out a second time if it wasn't good the first - it's a very good sign.

I guess the quick kiss and taking off made you feel that he was not into you. If he is the shy type, he may not blurt it out. Some guys just take more time to open up or tell you anything. Go on the next date, take it slow, and give him a chance. Have fun.
He likes you if he asked for a 2nd date.

He might be shy or his self esteem might be a bit low. Try not to set expectation and just go out and have fun. When there is no tension there is a myriad of things to see and you don't have to read anything. Just be yourself and be patient, some guys are slow starters but that has nothing to do whether he is into you or not. Nothing boils before the heat is applied. Let him warm up and get to know you, get to know him and you will understand why.

i think you should go out with him again. The fact that he asked you out again means that he is interested in you.Since you said that both of you are the 'quite' type, that explains the quick kiss that he gave you.He is probably shy.So i say go ahead girlfriend, give him a chance.

My advice would be to not go out with people u work with. If something ever happened and you two broke up, it would be really awkward to see him in the workplace.

sound like he is a sweet shy guy like you said. if his friend came up to you and told you then that means that he has said somthing to his friends about how he like you, go out with him again.
