do you think its unfair that people come in here and knock people just cause they don't like nascar??

I hate nascar, I've watched it before and get bored...Someone tried explaining it to me, Forget it, I just watch the last 5 laps :)

I don't flame no one over it though, what someone likes I have no say, because they may not like what I like, right?

I think people need to keep their mouths shut

It is very wrong that people come into the site to attact the fans of NASCAR but there is not much we can do.
I have followed NASCAR since 1960 and I still follow it.Grant it there are things I do not like about it but I am not going to bash the sport over it.The over all sport is really good and when the race is on TV or I am at Talladega I am cheering for my favorite,but will not boo or make obscene remarks or jesters to the ones I don't like.
But these few that came into the NASCAR world to down this portion of the sport are not sports fans,they are instigaters and want to spread their limited knowledge around to act big.
That's all I have to say about that.

Absolutely.On the other hand look at all the good responses to your question.We have to keep in mind that if a question seems uninformed, naive or even just plain stupid,it may have been innocently asked by a child,just learning to use the computer.How terrible would you feel if you found out you were swearing at ,insulting and being just plain rude to someones innocent 8 year old daughter? We need to show some semblance of intelligence and think for a second before we respond .Thanks NASCAR fans,you are the greatest!

Yep, its to bad but it seems like only a couple people that do it. I think they probably say they like F1 but know nothing about it and just are lonely and have nothing better to do.

Real F1 fans probably have a respect for Nascar as well as most autoracing as do Real Nascar fans have respect for F1 and their fans and admire what it is they do. Too bad a couple guys that have no clue ruin it for everyone and thats the reason why you see the hostility between everyone. Too bad cause both sports are great and entertaining so many ways.

Hey, I do think it's unfair. Do you know of Nascar fans going to golf questions to taunt the golf fans. That is Human Nature , to put down something others enjoy. I guess they get a feeling of superiority from doing it. When we all know that the ones who don't like Nascar are to be pitied for having the unmitigated gaul to even boot up their computers to denigrate the greatest display of human endevor Man has ever devised.

sweetie, you just have to understand that hes not all there. Hes obviously missing some screws up stairs. If you look you will see that all he does is go from one forum to another showing his ignorance. as long as we reply he will keep coming. although it had gotten really hilarious. Hes pushing it now. Its only because he 1. doesn't have a life 2. was probably mistreated as a child. 3. has a very BIG insecurity problem (people who feel they have to prove something do)
4. If he is over 10, I am sure he doesn't have a wife, and children. 5. Isn't getting any...

So, if we all agree to ignore him it will really piss him off.....

It's what happens when you make an assumption about something that you haven't ever experienced. They think they know everything, and they dont.

Hell, i've liked NASCAR for almost 4 years and I dont know everything.

But sadly to their dismay, I have all my teeth, I am not married to my brother, and I do not concider myself a redneck. i am from texas, but I'm not "dye hard" nascar fan. I like it for my reasons, and no one can change that.

I used to be one of those people who hated NASCAR, then i went to a race. I haven't missed one since. I have met my fav. drivers, I have bought the merchandise, and I have sat in traffic for it.

People feel insecure with themselves so to make themselves feel better they have to bring other people down. That's why people make fun of other people. That and people mock what they don't understand. Just ignore them when they do that, this nascar sucks guy is just looking for reactions

A certain person who comes in here slamming everything NASCAR has his nose in the air & his head up his dupa just like the wine (whine?) and cheese elitists he worships. Maybe if everyone related to F1 wasn't such a pompous puke, somebody in America besides him would actually give a rat's rectum about it.

Of course it is. You have to be pretty narrow-minded to only watch one type of Motor Sport. It would be like eating and enjoying only one type of food your whole life. There is so much more to motor sports other than NASCAR. They just need to open thier minds a little thats all.
