Itchy Nose...what causes it?

Randomly sometimes my nose will become constantly itchy. And nothing i do will ease it. Though i dont think it is allergies because my eyes dont water, i dont sneeze, or any of the other typical symptoms. Just an insanely itchy nose. ( Outside of the nose, and just the base part of it) And no matter what i do, or how much i itch it, i cant seem to make it stop...Any idea what this could be caused from?

My mom always says your nose always itches when some one who loves you is thinking about you lol
