This is actually something that happened to me. My boyfriend's parents gave him the choice of either losing me or his truck, and he choose the truck. Then I said, "I love you." to him and he never said it back. I think he's mad at me, but the next day we stayed at a friends house and we had sex there, so is he mad at me or at his parents?

It sounds like he is young so of course he chose the truck. Even if he tells you he loves you, you will always be a secret he keeps from his parents. As for the sex thing again I assume you are both young and boys don't see sex like girls. Some people say that is not true but I think they fool themselves. You deserve a guy that chooses you first after all if he were to die tomorrow would that truck even care? No it wouldn't but you would and he chose the truck what does that tell you about him?

he's not mad at either of you. he did what he had to do to get what he wanted obviously. if his parents are making him "choose" between you and a truck, is that someone you even want to be with?? his parents obvisously have an issue with you guys being together, and seeing that he choose his truck rather than you, he felt that the relationship wasn't something worth fighting for. i'm sure it doesn't feel too good right now, but you'll bounce back. take it as a lesson learned. believe me, you'll be laughing at this in no time =)

The first sign that he loved his truck more than you was that he choose it, the second was when you told him you loved him and he didnt say anything back.
After all of that, you have sex with him??? What are you thinking.....now he knows he can get away with whatever he wants, and still get booty on the side.
My suggestion would be get some confidence....and show him your better than that. Dont let a guy treat you like that....and know that you are worth more than a stupid truck.

That is an unfair and unreasonable choice. His parents obviously do not like something about his dating and are using the truck against him.
You really cannot expect him to give up the truck with his parents. Your saying "I love you", it sounds like in front of his parents, was more for spite. It would be one thing if you are both adults, but as children you have to expect him to take the truck in front of his parents and you when they are not around.
I am sure that he cares about you, but he has to care in secret. Some people just have to learn to deal with bad parents and he is coping the only way he knows how.

But I do agree with Sunshine, you must be crazy to have had sex with him the day after he chose the truck over you. Were U so desperate for sex? Couldnt you get it anywhere else?
To answer your first question, he definitely doesnt love you, he just had sex with you.

He might resent you or them at first b/c he had to make an important decision for a guy. He must really care about you..maybe not love you since he didn't say it back. I wouldn't push him about it right now, give him time to get over his parent's childish ultimatum and just be glad he cares enough to do what he did.

Obviously he loves his truck more then you. What I don't understand why the hell his parents would make him chose his truck or his girlfriend. I don't see a point to it!

If he chose the truck - that was more important.Trust me i've been through this and the sex - he just broke up with you and knew you were still willing.You probably still have feelings for him but it's not the same for him.I've been through that one.
