Yes, this is probably one of the most serious questions concerning Christianity. Based on the story of Adam and Eve, incest would have had to occur in order for us to be here today.
In addition, in the anthropological studies conducted, people in "primative" cultures do not support incest, even when members of the opposite sex are scarce. They will resort to anything, such as polygamy, not to breed with their children. Therefore, for the Christian story to be true, people would have to be going against their human nature to populate the earth.

While the Adam and Eve story is a symbolic story about good vs. evil, it has been scientifically proven we came from one genetic code somewhere in Africa. So, yes, at the beginning of the human race there probably was a lot of inbreeding, but they didn't know anything else at the time. The survival of humanity was dependent on this. Over time, science has proven the genetic dangers in inbreeding and in most countries it has been outlawed and thus through time we culturally have made this an unacceptable practice.

This is an interresting question i think. Although i think its been asked who knows how many times lol.
I dont know how the population got soo big. Did God create more people? I dont think its likely. Hmmmm So coming back to sex...
Well men were allowed to many many wifes in the past also. Things change. I think God made it where sex can be had with sisters and brothers and so on without genetic deformities. I think since they were created some rules doesnt apply then like they do now. anyways thats just my thoughts on the matter.
Where is my Thumbs down for being Spiritual?
Lost points for God YAY lol

Genesis disproves Genesis. Cain went to Nod where he found a wife. That verse comes before any verse about any other children but Cain and Abel.
Lets say that God created Adam and Eve. He most certainly did not start there or end there.

The missing detail here is that Adam and Eve weren't the first humans, just the first Hebrews.

There are better reasons than this to understand that the story is fiction; the genetic evidence is conclusive.

If you mean Luke, I did yes, but then I found out he was my twin and it got a bit icky.
