A lot of people would answer this question "Yes, until I did"
I will offer an alternate answer. I think the first step is becoming content with yourself. In the end, if things do not work out, you will still have yourself, so don't let a lack of a relationship get you down.
For a while I thought there might not be someone out there for me because of a history of not-so-ideal relationships, but recently an amazing woman stumbled across me in what seemed like the most improbable way. It truly was amazing and unexpected.
Sorry for getting off on the tangent a little bit, but I do believe there is someone for everyone.

I know that I won't. My boyfriend broke up with me a little over a week ago and I don't have anything to look forward to. He was my first love. It kills me when I think about how we were together. I wake up every morning with my heart racing and I can't make it stop. Nothing drastic happened, he said we just grew apart.
I've lost my love and my best friend in the same day. I keep kidding myself when I think that I will find someone. I know it's hard because I never saw it coming and it was one-sided. I had so many plans for the summer. I thought about going camping, going to the lake, and even going to Las Vegas to celebrate my 21st birthday. Now everything is gone.

More that anyone will ever know! Your not alone but I know it feels like it. Its not true just keep the faith and try to occupy your mind on doing the things you like. Check with your community and attend something fun, take a dance class sometimes offered for free as a community service and there are lots of other activities to meet new people. The worst thing you can do is sit and wait for prince charming. As soon as you start having fun you will meet him, I promise.

I'm with guys suck on this one.
I felt this way for a while but then met my ex of 2 years but then found out she cheated on me while away at school (with someone who I had a feeling was trying to steal her). Since we broke up though I have been down again and while I like to think I will find someone who is great and won't hurt me, after you are hurt, its hard to feel that way.

Yes. Though I know I'll never find someone. And worse, i know all the good someone girls out there will go out with nothing but the jerks and losers....and I'll just get to sit back and watch it happen....again and again and again and again and again.

i used to...then i met my ex for two years i thought i found the one i was going to marry until i found another girl on top of him...but even after all that i still belive theres somone out there for me and i cant wait to find him...theres someone for everyone

yeah and it sucks *** it took me like 5 years of no dating to find my girlfriend and now we are head over heels for each other. just be patient.

yes we did until we found each other and now everything else seems to be just right. you have to give it time to find that specail someone
