YES--Absolutely you can give or get a yeast infection from having sex---UNPROTECTED sex. It is a sexually transmitted disease.
Both men AND women can have yeast. Men can carry yeast in their urethra, and when having UNPROTECTED sex can pass it to their partner. If a man has more than one partner, he can pass it to every person he is with. Men usually are called carriers with no symptoms.
Women have symptoms which can be very unpleasant.
You should see a qualified OB-GYN, and be checked for sexually transmitted diseases including HIV, and Hepatitis

It is a YEAST infection.
And yes you can give it to your partners, vaginally, rectally and orally. That should make you think twice about what you do.
If you get it from one person and you go untreated you will share it with any other partners until you are treated and it is gone.
Sex can be risky!!

Yes, especially if you (not to sound nasty) didn't keep things lubricated. High friction can cause one...or if the male has a high level of acidity in his sweat...or if the guy has a yeast infection himself....many things. Not to mention...if AFTERWARD, she didn't clean up and all of that moisture stayed in that area...she could develop one.

yes you can. you can be a carrier (no symptoms), but it's also possible to get one with no sex at all. There are so many ways to get one. Any imbalance in the normal levels of PH can cause one.

yup.... you can get it from sex, oral sex .. males and females can have and transfer a yeast infection. I would imagine you can get it from hot baths and whorl pools and many other public places as well so don't go blaming your man for this itchy problem right away....

Yes, and most men never show any symptons. So, when you get rid of your own YI, then have unprotected sex with them again they can give it right back to you.

Yup.... and you can also give it to them through oral sex. The best thing to do is stick with one person and have both of you go get rid of it.
