My friends brother is 20 and he has never had a girlfriend before. Do you think that is weird? I don't think he is gay because he wants to get married and have children. He also likes certain types of girls. Does it really matter how many boyfriends/girlfriends you have had in the past to determine if you will get married?

no i don't think it is wierd that your brother's friend never started dating until then, for the simple fact is so did i. there is no telling what goals he had set for himself or what he was foucused on that was more important too him. but no it is not wierd.
no it does not matter how many boyfriends a woman has had in the past nor how many girlfriends a man has had in the past. it dose not determine if you will marry or not.
that is up to you. if you are a christian then you wil allow God to choose for you epsecially if you only want too marry once. if you are not saved then my advice too you is to take your time get to know a person character,personality and what ever else you can find out about the person. if you are the type who wants to be married prepare yourself to be a wife my sisters or if you are a man prepare yourself to be a husband. do the the things you need to do to be the best wife or husband you can be. get books, movies, and other helpful materials that will prepare you for the next level in your life. learn too communicate with one another, don't talk down too each other nor at each other, but communicate with each other. learn compromise. don't try too change each other, but love each other.

I don't think your friends brother is weird at all. A lot of young people now are thinking more about their careers than having boyfriends/girlfriends. Young people are seeing now that they are going to have many obstacles facing them in this world. And its a sure bet that if you don't have a decent career your more than likely going to struggle.
So maybe this guy is more into trying to get himself established before hitting the scene with a girlfriend. It makes sense to me. Also be just might be one who'd rather not deal with a lot of drama some women can toss from time to time. Being single, having his own place, free to go and come when he please without having to answer to a girlfriend...ummm He's young and thinking kudos to him, no he's not weird.

It's not that weird, most people do date before 20 but he may just be a late bloomer, or just be really picky. The number of people you have dated in no way determines if you will marry or not.

Nope, you can have one or a hundred and one. It doesn't really matter. What matters is how the two pwople feel about each other. As for your friends brother, no don't think he's gay, just selective. Good luck...

No it does not matter. I know alot of people that married their first gf or bf. and they are happily married to this day. He is probably waiting for the perfect girl for him. I think she will be a lucky girl myself.. think about it.. he doesn't bring any baggage from past relationships with him.

Its not common but it isnt wierd either and no you can get married if he finds what he's looking for. Also sounds like you have an iterest in him. Attitude has the most effect on relationships not how old you are.

That is not weird because some people are really shy and they don't have the guts to admit it so what I'm saying is that he might be one of the persons who don't like to show their feelings toward other people because they live with the fear of being rejected.

no, it doesn't matter at all...why don't you date him if you are so interested in his love life? I'm not being a smart ***, but it sounds like you are wondering because you like him and you don't want people to think you date a weirdo...try it...you might like it
