no. a potato is a vegetable, is it bad to eat raw carrots? unless the potato wasn't washed, you just picked it up off of the ground and ate it, then there could of been germs on it...

My family loves eating raw potatos and we have been sick just as much as anyone else. Its most likely its just a common cold.

No...potatoes do not carry bacteria. What ever caused your fever, was not in the potato.
