Hi, I suggest giving him goat's milk until he can eat mushy food on his own. It's much easier on his digestive track than cows milk and won't give him diarreah. Just keep showing him mushy food until he gets the idea and wants to eat. I just put IAMS kitten food in warm water and let it get soggy...then it's good for kittens to try.

Good luck.

Your basic problem here is that the kitten was taken away from it's mother way too soon. You should speak to a vet about this. Probably the cat wasn't weened correctly and that is why it isn't eating. You may need to feed it from a bottle with milk.
As far as potty training, show the cat the littler pan, put him in it, sort of show him how to claw at the litter, and the rest is nature.

Iams sells dry and wet kitten food. Mix the two together and microwave it for 10 seconds.

Most kittens have already been potty trained by their parents and all you need to do is show him the litter box.

Don't ever give your cat cow milk. Use only kitten replacement milk from the pet store.

I would feed him maybe a can of soft wet food a day and keep a small bowl of soft Kitten chow, not the wet food! If he wont eat theres probably a reason, he either doesnt like the food or he needs to be checked by a vet! They dont have to be trained to use their litter box just take about 30 minutes a day and be in the room the litter box and put your kitten in it, every time he walks out put him back in!

to get him to eat just take a piece of food and put it in his mouth and if he spits it out then just put warm milk in it to soften it up a little bit. i personally went with iams kitten food my kittens have the softest coats u have ever seen, and as for the potty training just get a little litter box without a cover and just set him in there every half hour and take his paws in ur hands and show him how to dig between two cats i only had to clean up one accident so hope this helps

Try canned kitten food first, and potty place him in the litter box. He may play in it, but if he poo's out of the box . just place the poo in it and show him that.

Thats how i trained a stary kitten, of course he played with the popo for a bit then realized it was for a potty only

I don't know how to get him to eat...perhaps you can give him warm milk but I think you should ask a veterinarian. To potty train a cat you gently rub his nose his/hers litter box.

Cheers!

kitten food.. Put him in the litter box and encourage him to dig around. If/when he poops somewhere else in the house, take the poop, and put it in the litter box. Just keep putting him in there, he'll figure it out.

either wet food or els take his dry food and let it soak in warm water so it mushes up, that way it'll be easier for him to switch at first.
