Should i get carmel highlights? Is it too fake?

I have dark brown hair with some natural light brownish redish highlights.

I think Carmel highlights would look great on dark brown hair, not to many highlights, more natural but it would brighten up your hair and if you highlight around your face it would also brighten up your face..... I am not sure what your skin color is but if you have olive colored skin or tan skin that would look great... Good Luck

Is it too fake??? I hate when people classify doing your hair as too fake? I can understand make up, some people do way too much and look fake, If you want a natural look carmel highlights would look awesome with dark brown hair.

okay well here we go......good question!!! I did my hair like a golden carmel on my dark brown hair and it really makes your face so much brighter and happier. Anyhow you would get so many complaments. And my hair still looks pretty natural with those highlights. But make sure you get a good hair dresser or product to do that because that s what it all depends on.

all i suggest is geting those color highlights done it small streaks, not those huge ones.. those look fake and i just personally don't like them. ask for thin highlights and a lot that way it will look natural.
