On you or the cat?
If you were injured by the cat, you need to see a doctor.
Seriously!
Cat's claws are full of germs that are dangerous to humans.
Seek medical attention, even if you think it's nothing. You may need antibiotics.
If the cat is injured, go to a vet. It may need stitches and antibiotics.

You should never shave a cat by yourself, have it done professionally, that is why you now have a problem. when you say gash, do you mean big cut. Get the poor thing to a vet and they can close the gash with a type of animal glue, the cat will be fine, but are you really meant to be a cat owner.

OMG! You must be a crazy idiot to shave your poor cat and leave something gruesome on it seek medical attention right a way get a vet, i feel so sorry for the cat to have a nasty owner like you and if i knew more about it earlier i would have the departmentof animal cruelty and report you, so they can take it away from a crazy person like you treat it with medical percedures and give a nice, loving, caring owner not a ''BIG FAT MEANIE WIERDO LIKE YOU''! And plus if you wanted a bald cat you should have bought one ''IDIOT''.
