If the children are in no immediate danger, then it will be difficult to gain custody. You might want to contact your local Family Services department.

You would have to prove that the mother is unfit and/or that the children are being abused. You would have to get a lawyer and go to court and also be able to prove that you could take care of the kids financially and provide for them. It would not be an easy process, especially if there is no physical abuse going on - most courts will side with the mother.

first you need to send in the DFS. to have a home check. They will then decide if the things are wrong. Also have there counsels talk with them. have them write a letter to the DFS. You will need a lawyer.I can tell you this from experience it is really hard to get a child away from there parent unless there is some harm going on.Some states its all most in possible to do that. But i wish you the best of luck. And God Bless the kids. may he watch over them till help arrives.

Well is it just her rules that they don't like or is she actually abusing them mentally, physically, or emotionally?

If she is abusing them you will have to report her to child services...they'll most likely put the children in foster custody until they have a hearing and then you could apply for full gaurdianship. I commend you for trying to help them out of their home but this will be a long messy process..

Good luck

You cant get custody unless there is serious abuse or the parents agree. She is thier mother. Kids cry, and parents get moody. So goes life.

Also you are so young to be parenting teenagers. What will you do if one of them wants to drink alcohol or something. Will you be able to properly disipline them?
