Well I can't tell you how to do it, you already have it 'in you'. But if you are looking for a way of 'bringing it altogether' and 'letting it shine' then one method is to do an audition that follows exactly the pattern you have set here, you 'play' a character 'posting' this question on the Internet, and then you 'play' the responses. You can make 'serious' and 'helpful' responses that cover the range of skills you are trying to display in the audition, and you can add a couple of humorous (even unkind ones) to 'break it up' a little bit. For each 'response' to your question you can also 'play' your own reaction (enthusiasm/doubt/indignation). I'd probably recommend finishing with an answer that talked about passion, and wanting it from the bottom of you heart or some such sentimental thing.

For singing, it's best to use a piece you know REALLY well, rather than try to learn something new for it. Take the piece that shows off your voice the best, but one you'd have to be practically brain dead to mess up.
