As long as you "got some" from the Lie, who cares.
If you really want her back, just apologize and make youself sound like you really wanted to impress her or something.
Say something like "you were afraid to tell her the truth because you didn't want to lose her". Chicks dig on that stuff.
That will probably settle her down.

first, what did he lie about?? i'd be a lot more help if i knew that...
and she wont be back until she realizes that she can fully trust him again. once someone lies to you, especially for something like that, its hard to forgive, and harder to forget. He should tell her he's sorry, and leave her alone until she's ready to talk to him again. once they start talking, give her time to renew her trust in him. if there is no trust, then there isnt anything.

I'd apologize to her while begging forgiveness and then leave her alone and take a good long look at what is wrong with me that I had to lie to someone.
If you try to "get her back" you could end up with shiny silver bracelets on both your hands and then in a place where there aren't any women to lie to.....................................

Nothing can be done, what your friend did was wrong and he does not deserve that girl. Let her go, let he be happy with someone who wants her for more than sex.
