i personally just click to download the one closest to the top. is that wrong?

Hi Mickey, Limewire do give you a option on whats good or bad, by rating it with starts are if its junk it will put a bin next to it.
If I were you always download the ones with most starts. And after you have download it. right click on it and look for scan for viruses.

The one that is closest to the top is useally the best one, since many people have sent in many copies of the same file, so it also makes it download quicker. And 60 or so people are not going to send in the same corrupt file. But songs that have a garbage can symbol next to them you should NEVER download. Also, songs that have a title, but no artist useally are just limewire "spam" There is couple of video files that shouldn't be downloaded as well, and you can find them on the limewire website.

only download file that have been downloaded by many other users to be safe, otherwise at least a few 8 or so or more. Do not download files like this often though

Since downloading from limewire comes from many different computers, you need to save everything before opening or running it. Save it and scan it before you run or open it.

Well, if you're getting it for free and you know you'd have to pay for it on CD or from iTunes then you know it's illegal and you could get sued for downloading it. So avoid illegal files.

WARNING do not down load from that site! i did a yr. ago & ended up with adware, spyware..... it messed up my computer something awful. It got so bad i had to lose everything in order to clear up my computer. If you must, make sure you use adAware SE Personal & C-Cleaner afterwards.
