Well, 18 is the legal age for a person to start having sex, so legally it is not wrong or weird at all to be a virgin at 18. But there is a difference between legal and the way american citizens live abiding by the rules and not being enforced on others. I still dont think it is wrong or weird in any way to still be a virgin at 18, but some others may disagree with me because of how many people have sex under age in certain areas, mostly in cities.

Its neither weird nor wrong. But I dont understand the emphasis on virginity or the double standards involved.

When a guy loses his virginity he's considered a stud, but a girl in the same situation becomes a whore. And why do you have to save it for your marraige when the guy would have had atleast 10 partners at that time?

Anything you experience becomes part of your education, so there is no harm adding to your education. Remember in the Talmud it says "When a man (person) faces his maker, he shall have to account for all those pleasures of life that he did not experience." So God forbid, if anything happens to you, you will really have some explaining to do.

Definitely not. Don't feel embarrassed either. Usually stupid people make a deal out of that.Like omg you're still a virgin? And, big deal! lol. You're just waiting for the right time and person. That's nice. The only thing is, make sure you'll be able to please the other person when you do decide to have intercourse. You know, like four play atleast.lol. I'm just being honest. There's nothing like a good partner in bed. lol. Even though that's not the only important thing in a relationship, ju know?!......

Not at all, I am a 16 year old guy, I want to wait till marriage before losing my virginity.
It is a shame that there is not as many people like you, far too many of my peers have rushed into sex, like it is the end of the world if you don't lose it. To be honest, it is a little pathetic, and it hasn't helped them at all.
And you can live knowing you are pure and should be happy that, in our socially corrupted world with attitudes to sex, you can put your hand up and say "I am a virgin." I bet you are minority, and that makes you unique, not strange/weird/wrong or anything like that
I have the upmost respect for you.

Absolutely not!! Because I had the respect of my
parents and felt I could not 'do it' until I was married,
got married at 18.
Oh how I lived to regret it. I did not love him, he started
to treat me badly (mentally not physically) and I could
not bear him near me.
SO - we divorced. I was still a virgin when I divorced
him three years after we had married.
When I did meet someone, who I fell absolutely head
over heels for - I did not think twice about losing my
virginity. Because it felt right. And really that was what
my mom had been telling me really - save yourself until
the right person. I was 21.
So - until you're ready don't do it. And certainly not because
you feel you should be like every other girl.

No its not weird or wrong at all, everyone knows when they are ready to give themselves to that special someone, u can be 18 or 28 and still be a virgin, u just need to find that special someone and be comfortable enough to share that experience with them, goodluck in that quest and if you are not sure don't give it away until you are 100% comfortable in doing so.

It's not weird or wrong to be a virgin at any age angel, it's your choice. When the time is right, with the right man, the first time will be such a good experience.

Just be careful about your choice, there are plenty of guys who'll be attracted to virgins, just so they can brag about it later.

Wrote you a really long answer, deleted it..... Theres nothing wrong with being a virgin at 18. Your young and have the same fears as everyone. When your older you will be prouder than most that you didn't just give it to anybody. I bet the one you choose gives you loads of pain in the ***......and you marry her.x

No I think its rather refreshing in this day and age!, everyone seems to be rushing to lose their virginity. I work in a centre where we see many sexually transmitted diseases, and girls needing morning after pill etc., so don`t worry about being a virgin. When you do have sex I hope its with someone you love and who loves you, just make sure that whoever it is, until you really know they are safe you will use a condom!!! CONGRATULATIONS FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE NORM, BE PROUD OF IT!!!
